New "buddy"

Minolta XD7 (aka XD-11 in USA and XD in Japan). It was so hard to find it - nobody sells. I've watched a lot of forums and auctions for a one year till somebody "ventured" to sell one. Need to clean it up first an buy a battery (I prefer VARTA's CR1/3N lithium).
I really fall in love with it - metallic parts, shutter speed ring moves so smooth, and film-advance lever - it is so different from X-700, so light move.

17/11/14.
Whoah! It was sooooo exciting to "repair" the camera. Especially without specific instrument called "spanish wrench". But I have an analogue: Stangenzirkel!!! Large one (approx 40cm).
I've got fix viewfinder lens - one side of which was dipped into camera 'cuz of old glue. Also eyepiece shutter was "broken". It isn't take effect on pictures, but still bothering me. Now it is like new.
When I start to assemble the camera - most annoying thing was "film-advance lever". Actually not the lever itself - but the spring under it. I "killed" one hour to assemble it.

My first Kodak TMAX 400

I bought 5 rolls of this gorgeous film and I must admit that it is really great. I excited with the grain - really small. Film was developed in d76 stock (7,5 min). Camera used: Nikon FM2n with Nikkor 50/1.8.

Acros 100 in D76

Third roll of my most favorite b/w film. This grain, this contrast - I love it. And it "works" good with rodinal and with d76. But this time I decided to bought Kodak's D76. My Kodak's D76 powder was expired for 5 months - but prepared solution was clean and without flakes. Camera: Nikon FM2n with Nikkor 50/1.8 everywhere. Currently I'm looking for a Nikkor 35mm lens (yeah - I'm enough with 50mm, but not with FM2n ^3^).

Fuji PRO 400H

I'm so glad that I bought couple rolls of fuji's pro400h. It is really great film. I love the grain, I love the colors. But I need a good scanner, 'cuz mah friend's EPSON V750 leave a lot of marks on the digital images. Shoot on Minolta X-700.

Kodak TRI-X in Rodinal

Grainy. Because expired rodinal which was too old for this. Anyway - I liked that film. I'll wait for 1 month to order more of this in local wholesaler - because earlier I've ordered 5 rolls of Kodak's 400 Tmax, 2 of Fuji's Acros 100 and 2 PRO 400H.

A lil' bit of nature from ours "1st of May" holiday

Fuji's Neopan 400 & Rodinal

That's actually the first film from my Nikon FM2n: just now I scanned it. Lens: Nikkor 50/1.8 AiS. Developed in Rodinal (1+25/6min).
Next film will be Kodak's TRI-X 400.

My AKG's K618. Because of crack in headband I back to Yamaha EPH-30.
My only film camera for 2 years - Minolta X-700

Unnatural KODAK ULTRAMAX 400

When I saw the color of the sea on this film - I was like: "WHOAH! Looks like a sea of mud." That's why I won't post it. Maybe it's because this roll of film was expired for 1 year (it wasn't stored in good conditions). As for me: at the same price of the film - Fuji's X-TRA 400 is much better for sunlight, much natural. The next film from X-700 will be X-TRA 400.
Camera: Minolta X-700. Used lenses: Rokkor-PF 58/1.4, TELE Rokkor 135/2.8 and W.Rokkor 28/2.8.

Kodak TRI-X image

Still making "captures" of boxes from films which I use(-ed). In future I want to make some t-shirt with film camera and these films on it.

My Nikon FM2n currently loaded with this film

AKG K618DJ (K619 also) are fragile

Now I see how fragile they are. One guy got them 6 months earlier than me and broke them in 1 month! I thought it was because he used them very aggressively. And I hoping that if I'll use them very carefully - they'll serve me a long time (4 months actually). And couple days ago I saw these cracks:

 Not best 100$ bought.

A lil' update (9/05/14):
As soon as I'm working with headphones: all of those who bought K618DJ or K619 - return them in 3-4 months because of headband crack. And the "HI-SCORE" is belong to koreans which bought K618DJ and headband cracked less then in 1 month. Bravo!

Trains, flower blossoms and expired AGFA VISTA 200

At least I've finished those expired roll of Agfa Vista 200 (exp. for 9.5 yrs.). As I thought - it was better to shot it as ISO50 than ISO100. Exposed still on Minolta X-700.
Currently I have finished and undeveloped roll of B&W film (fuji's NEOPAN 400). Hope to develop it and scan on the next week. That'll be first film on Nikon FM2n.

I exposed it so long - from february to april

12.03.14

Yeah-yeah-yeah!

At least I received a lens (Nikkor 50/1.8 AiS) for my Nikon FM2n. Thanks to "Green MOUNTAIN Camera" from Vermont, USA. It was cheaper to bought this lens form ebay via mediator than to buy it in Ukraine directly. Hope to fast sell useless for me Nikkor 50/2 non-Ai. First roll of film on that camera will be FUJI's Neopan 400.

Expired Agfa Vista 200

Expired for 9 years (almost: exp. in June 2005). I shoot it as ISO100 with Minolta X-700. And it feels like that wasn't enough - film too old for ISO100. Second roll that I shoot right now - as ISO50, because all pictures that I take at night - wasn't exposed enough and on scanned images I see, mostly, darkness. Samples:

Rollei RCN 640

I really liked that film. Very pity that I can't find it anymore to buy (even on ebay). I bought last "twinpack" in local seller. First roll of film was exposed and developed in spring 2011, and the 2nd roll - in the summer 2011.

That's my favorite shot. First mulberries.

My second FUJI PRO 400H, etc.

At least - "new_year_sales" are finished and I had some pause in work to got my holiday for taking photos on fuji pro 400h.
My next film will be expired (in 2005) AGFA VISTA 200 (from Germany, jawohl!). I wanted to buy VISTA 100, but seller said that is ended. And this time I'll try to change the developing lab.
